who am I?

Daniel, born in 1996, grew up in the town of Berwick, Victoria with his parents before moving to Warragul where his DJ career began.

He was quite shy throughout primary school, always wanting to fit in and be liked by his peers, which often in times saw him bullied and left out. A strong leader at heart however, Daniel did his best throughout the rest of his time in high school to gain confidence, and began taking on roles as a leader wherever possible, making many friends along the way.

Daniel's confidence at progressing in life began to rise and having interest in sports was quite high throughout his early teenage years, with his major interest in Music and Entertainment not beginning until a few years further ahead.

A spark was ignited during an underage music festival Daniel attended called Goodlife, the very first multi stage outdoor music festival he had been too. A young DJ by the name of Will K, around the same age as Daniel played main stage to a crowd of thousands, and had Daniel asking the question, if he can do that, why can't he?

YouTube tutorials started. Downloading any music that was available began and saving any cash that he could come by was done to kickstart this long and somewhat "different" career path.

After months of saving, Daniel was able to purchase a full DJ setup, and he would practice on this any chance he could. In time, this grew into a very large collection of equipment and this equipment was used nearly every single weekend as Daniels calendar began to book out.

Soon enough, Daniel managed to catch the eye of the local pubs and clubs, and alongside promoting, he scored his very first weekly residency as a 17 year old on Friday nights.

This residency went right up until Daniel turned 18, to which he was given a short 30 minute set on his birthday at the local nightclub that has then kickstarted a very successful career of music and entertainment as a touring DJ.

Daniel's first major club set was at Lucky Thursdays in Melbourne. Receiving praise on just how good his opening set was, he quickly secured a weekly residency playing music to sometimes 1000s of patrons in a single night.

Daniels talent for reading crowds and being able to play a range of genres didn't go unnoticed, and after many successful gigs throughout Melbourne and surrounds, Lucky Agency (Lucky Entertainment) offered him a spot to sign on as one of their artists, which he did.

Daniel, now booking and touring independently, has grown immensely as an artist and performer over the years. He continues to play amazing shows throughout multiple venues across Australia and the CAREW name continues to grow. The people around the country know to expect anything but boring when CAREW is performing.
